Hello. The charger that came with my Hi12 is very wobbly and falls out easily but charges the tablet fast. Other chargers I have charge it very slowly and sometimes not at all.
I don’t need a smart charger. I just need whatever will charge the tablet as fast as it can be charged and stay plugged in when moved.
I am in the US so I need a charger compatible with US wall outlets.
September 7, 2016 at 6:34 am #49083The one I got is Orico brand and is like you described: fast, reliable and secure connections.
ORICO 1 Port Travel Wall Charger With Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 with 1m Free Micro USB Cable-Black/White(QTW-1U)

(from AliExpress Android)Sorry the link is for one with European plug but you might find equivalent with US plug. I use with Australian adapter. The cable is only one metre so can’t move to much but it’s nice and tight.

September 8, 2016 at 9:07 am #49188Have you tested how many Amperes can it deliver to the Chuwi Hi12? I know it depends on the USB cable and on the maximum current supported by the device.
With the original Chuwi Hi12 charger and a “good” cable, I can have up to 1.7 A (not always, but I suppose it depends on the percentage of charge of the battery).
Thanks
September 9, 2016 at 8:33 am #49304It’s difficult to get an accurate reading with an in line device because it alters the impedance of the circuit so will show less current than would be the case if you take the meter out. The other way to test is with an app like Aida64 and look at the discharge current with the charger disconnected which shows the current consumption of the tablet then plug in the charger and it should show charging current and you can add the two for total output of charger.
