Cool1Dual SIM1 problem

Greetings Chris.

First, many thanks to your informative reviews of these Chinese products. Appreciate if you could kindly help with the following issues with Cool1 Dual:

1. Can’t get the phone to connect to the network using SIM card slot 1 (the inner one).
2. The phone is “locked” into Dual-SIM set up screen when turned on.

The phone has International ROM installed by the HK vendor.

Is this phone faulty? Would be most grateful if anyone else familiar with this phone could help.

Looks like it might be faulty, i didn’t have this issue with my unit. Ask your seller for a replacement or solution at least.

Meanwhile, a couple of questions:

1. Is the Cool1 capable of having both SIM slots operating in 4G simultaneously?
2. If not, is there a specific 4G SIM slot?

Any slot can use 4G and only one uses data at a time you can’t use two 4G cards to double your internet for example.

1. If two 4G SIM cards are used, will both be shown as 4G on the screen?

2. If one SIM card is designated for data usage, will it receiving incoming voice call?

3. Is your Dual flashed with International ROM? Is it true factory reset will brick the phone?

4. Any problem receiving OTA?

5. Would you recommend flashing the official Chinese ROM?
