Hi everyone.
I have ordered Jumper Ezbook yesterday and I want to ask who are already using EZbook.
What is the Pros and Cons of this laptop?
As I see the review of this laptop there is USB connector problem which doesn’t power up a external HDD.
If there is any other issues let’s share each ones experience using this laptop.
Thanks!
Steven.
June 29, 2016 at 10:25 am #42283Did you see the whole review? Also keyboard flex and bounce and if you push the CPU hard with something taxing like gaming it gets very hot to the touch up to 50 degrees which is very hot!. I’m writing this on my EZBook 2. I have a second unit coming today, which is meant to be the second batch with fixed USB power output on the ports, i’ll see today.
Despite the issues, the performance of the laptop in Windows is the smoothest I have experienced for an Atom X5 Z8300, giving the GPU 256GB dedicated RAM it now works quite well with Chrome too. The screen is great for the price, betting my wifes ASUS 1366 x 768 panel and here laptop cost over 500 euros!

Next up for review:
Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30July 2, 2016 at 9:32 am #42462I entered the BIOS to increase the GPU dedicated ram. I’m a bit of a noob here, so I hope I did it right. There’s a parameter in Video Configuration called “IGD – DVMI Pre-Allocated” which a swtiched from 32 to 256. Is that correct? Should I change something else?

Use google translate (or Chrome) if you not fluent in Russian. 🙂
But will be careful with canging BIOs setting. very easy to brick every Atom based tablet with inproper BIOS setting (changing ram speed, dual channel etc)
July 12, 2016 at 10:26 am #43245My Ezbook arrived last week and so far really quite impressed with performance and aesthetics. Mine does NOT have keyboard flex issue whatsoever and also has toshiba emmc so wondering if it is part of a newer batch??
I use mine mainly for web browsing and working remotely from home or on the move, also used for Steam game streaming and has performed to high standard, battery life is excellent too .
July 12, 2016 at 10:50 am #43246I received mine today from Gearbest. No keyboard flex and a Toshiba emmc also. Could some things be better ? .. Sure …
but its an pretty amazing notebook for the price.July 12, 2016 at 1:18 pm #43268Yes great peice of kit for the price, so far my only dislike is the inability to turn off Win 10 gestures even though I have turned off the settings but no change

Wondering, have you tried plugging an external USB drive in? Their previous inability to power them is the one thing holding me back from taking the plunge.
July 21, 2016 at 7:47 am #44063I got mine from Gearbest and it belongs to the batch that cannot power external HDD or DVD-ROM drive.
Agree that screen is great for its price (matte and full HD resolution). Can’t beat the price for all these features.
It makes a great media consumption machine and still powerful enough for some light word processing tasks (google docs). Currently running Open Office for offline word processing.
July 27, 2016 at 11:37 pm #44796I’m happy with my device (Second Batch). However here are the Cons:
1.) The battery charging system is faulty on my device- the battery charges only up to ~80%
2.) The heat from the CPU was a problem which i fixed by the heatsink mod (find it on youtube). Prime95 using all cores goes up to 75°C only without throttling. Without the heatsink mod the CPU went up to 85°C and was throttling down when opening web pages. Also the cpu was getting very hot when charging the device.
