December 12, 2016 at 1:51 am #58433There is a new bios.
Have a look here: http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/2-7-bios-from-wootever-remixos/What I've used and what I've got:
TECLAST X98 AIR 3G, TECLAST X98 AIR II, TECLAST X98 PRO,CHUWI HI8, CHUWI HI12, CUBE I9December 12, 2016 at 4:33 pm #58463There is one guy who has bricked its i9 with the 2.7… that’s why I’m looking the 2.6. I don’t expect to install either Linux or Android, so I don’t need the touchscreen fix anyway
December 12, 2016 at 5:18 pm #58465Here you go,
CAUTION…
I downloaded this awhile ago, to prepare for when my tablet arrives so im assuming its the modified 2.6 Bios, at least that’s what the file name suggests.
Give me feedback to make sure everything is ok!
PS. I also have the stock bios if you want

The issue experienced doesn’t lie on bios version but firmware programming procedure.
Have a look to wootever answer: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70037188&postcount=409
So while programming your bios DON’T TOUCH your tablet.

You’ll need a USB keyboard or a keyboard dock for the update. During the process the touch screen gets disabled but you need to confirm the dialog with “y” twice or three times 😉
