Chuwi HiBook Windows Review (Video)

Here’s the Windows side of things on the Chuwi HiBook. Not as impressive as the Android performance, in Windows it seemed that drivers or something software related causes the Atom X5 Z8300 to perform slower than expected, well apart from the Cloud Gate 3DMark score which was one of the best I’ve seen on a Z8300. The video review covers the eMMC, wireless speeds, benchmarks and the doc...[Read More]

Chuwi HiBook Android Review (Video)

Chuwi’s HiBook is the twin of the Cube iwork10 Ultimate, sharing many features and the same keyboard. But the HiBook has a few minor changes, like a Type-C port, no stylus support and left and right speakers as opposed to both of the right of the tablet like the iwork10 Ultimate.  In this video review, I cover the Android side of things, Windows will be covered in a separate video. Most of t...[Read More]

Chuwi HiBook

The HiBook is a 2 in 1 Atom X5 Z8300 powered tablet. It's a dual OS model with 4GB of RAM and a 64GB eMMC. Other specs include a USB type-c port for faster charging and data, plus an optional keyboard dock with two USB 2.0 ports. The battery is a 6600mAh cell, good for around 6 hours of use.

Chuwi HiBook & Keyboard Unboxing and First Impressions

The Chuwi HiBook has landed here at TechTablets. The build is very similar to the Cube iwork10 Ultimate. If you have seen my hands on videos and the review of that model you will see the similarities. It’s obvious that the same ODM makes these tablets or at least the keyboard. There are however some changes in the tablet design, the HiBook has a better all metal unibody build, but a larger g...[Read More]

Now Shipping: Chuwi HiBook 10.1″ Dual OS 2 in 1.

The Chuwi HiBook is another dual boot 10.1″ Atom X5 Z8300, 4GB tablet, very similar to the Cube iwork10 Ultimate. They even share the exact same keyboard it seems, just with a different paint job. It’s now in stock and shipping at Banggood.com. I’ve ordered one with the X89 Kindow, so hope to have it in a few weeks to review on the site and compare it to my Cube iwork10 Ultimate....[Read More]

Chuwi HiBook – Listing Shows USB 3.0 Type-C Spec

GearBest now has the Chuwi HiBook listed up for preorder as well as the keyboard dock. Interesting to note that the listing states the type-C port to be a USB 3.0 Type-C. As so far I’ve only seen USB 2 spec on the Chuwi Hi8 Pro, Vi8 Plus and Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. Another good thing is unlike the Hi10 which has yet to see Dual Boot, this HiBook will ship with Android 5.1 and Windows 10. The keyboa...[Read More]

Chuwi HiBook

Chuwi sent me these pictures of a new tablet in the works. No word on the spec, it looks super similar to the Chuwi Hi10 Air, which makes me wonder if this is the Air and it was renamed? I can see the type-c port, sim card slot and the left and right speakers. Still no reply from them about the rather major Hi8 Pro power issues which is rather annoying. And means I cannot complete my review of it....[Read More]
