It’s not just all the Cherry Trail tablets now coming out, but Atom Cherry Trail mini pc’s to. The MeeGopad T04 claims to be the first new Atom Cherry Trail mini PC with a X5 Z8300 with 2GB of ram and a 32GB eMMC. It’s also got a full sized HDMI port two USB ports (One USB 3) and an RJ45 port. Sadly the LAN port is only 100Mpbs and not a gigabit one.
And it has a fan! Normally these are fanless, but MeeGo designed it with a fan, is it to combat that extra heat the new Atom’s produce? Might pick up one of these as the new Atom’s can run my monitors native 2560 x 1440 resolution and be a nice little low powered desktop for minor web stuff and movies etc. That way I don’t have to power up my i7 desktop beast which eat’s up 600+ watts.
