The cheapest and single boot Remix OS 2.0 version of the new Chuwi Vi10 Plus is now up for pre-order at Gearbest for $153.74 USD. This version has only 32GB eMMC and 2GB of RAM, but that should still be fine as it’s just running Remix. The Windows 10 / Remix OS 2.0 dual boot version has 4GB of RAM and a 64GB eMMC, but this version has yet to be listed. I expect it will follow soon.
The Vi10 Plus has a 10.8-inch 3:2 ratio 1920 x 1280 resolution screen. It’s the same screen as the Surface 3 and the vi10 Plus is powered by an Atom X5 Z8300, has micro HDMI out, Wireless N and 2MP dual cameras. The tablet is a 2-in-1 and has an optional keyboard cover style, stand dock that converts it into a mini netbook for a 10.8″ tablet.
I’ll be reviewing the Vi10 Plus, but I’ll wait for the dual OS version.

It would be nice to know if the BIOS is capable to boot from USB UEFI, eg., so people can know if it’s possible to create dual-boot… be that Windows or Linux. I assume so. Most of the tab’s can boot UEFI, right?

Or at least live-Boot Linux via USB

Yes, most tabs can boot UEFI via USB, like your live boot USB etc.
