Seems a lot of you liked me branching out to something different, alternative transport in the way of electric scooters. A quick and easy way to get around town I found with my Mi scooter I reviewed. In that same video, there have been some comments to review other scooters. Ones like the FLJ Carbon fibre scooters. They sell for around $450 on Aliexpress, they don’t look as good as the Mi Scooter I have as they have smaller wheels but they are lighter about 7 kilos in weight Vs 12.5 kilos of my Xioami.
GB has two versions which look Identical almost to the FLJ one, same build, same display and 3 gears. But the only difference I see is less battery capacity. A 6600mah version for $379.99 with coupon USscooter2 & the 5200mAh one for $359 with coupon $359.00. Whereas the FJI version range from about 6000mAh to over 10000mAh with a max 30km range.
The claim to take up to 120 kilos of load weight, 250watt motors in the front hub with shock absorbing springs and have foldable designs. max speed of 23 km/h which is only 2km/h less than the Mi scooter. A max range of 20kms, which is around the max the mi scooter gets. But Xiaomi claimed it could do 30 km, which I’ve only managed about 18-20 kms max. Which makes me think if this one they claim can do 20kms, will it really turn out to be only 10kms?
Other features include front and read lights for night riding and a charge time of 3 hours (Similar to my Xiaomi Mijia M365 Scooter) And braking via front using regen braking. The rear, unfortunately, is a pushdown foot brake like the manual scooters.
And then there is this one here, even cheaper for $239. But only a 4400mAh battery with a 10kms range & max speed of 18km/h. It looks a little like the LeTv scooter (also asked to review) and the FLJ ones. if I can get a decent review unit discount or coupon for these, any interest in a review?
