Great tweak. More than double speed.

My EZBOOK 3 pro is V4 latest version. From October. With known keyboard problems and SANDISK SSD DF4064 version

Not fully tested but seems to work stable. Windows 10 installed by me, of course.

You are lucky my NCard (FORSEE) doesn’t support it, I get a bluescreen on boot.

Looks interesting… “This is one of the best displays we’ve seen on tablets from Chinese brands
I have no experience in trying to boot Linux on an Android device. Is the BIOS usually open to this or have to jailbreak it or something like that?
I’d love to have a Linux tablet – of course a working touchscreen driver is a BIG question even IF one can compile a working Kernel.

Yes by following the maual described in the BIOS sticky post. The stock bios does not support to change it. However, after modding the bios it was already at HS400 setting, so no increase for me.

I always saw the ultrabooks with the 32/64GB just as a running system to try out, like the ink jet printers for 39 Euro where when you like the result you buy more ink what cost mostly more or a little less than the whole printer. (This stupid price policy pretty fast killed the printers).
So if you like the overall performance of the ultrabook, you add a fast ssd your choice. So 30 Euro for a 128GB or 50 for a 256 or 90 for a 512gb there are even 1 TB for 190 Euro now. See it like the Burper King motto: have it your way.

I leave the partition on the emmc alone, just switch to boot from ssd and maybe have an extra folder o the emmc for some storage. When it is time to sell the pc, just remove the ssd, switch back to emmc and you are all set.

I just got my EZBook Pro 3, the BIOS reads Build 02/01/2018 with version Jumper10x.P8.WP3132.N…..   and according to Device Manager the eMMC is SanDisk DF4064

Update: perfectly flashed to unlocked bios on 02/01/18 bios thanks to  @giovanni.

I’m just wondering, in the bios should the ‘Power Limit – 1’ be set to Disable or Enable? I tried disabling it, but it didn’t seem to increase the TDP. However, if you leave it on Enabled, it seems like you can change the TDP value? But I guess not, because everyone else is having to use some kind of Windows-based software to do this. Can anyone shed light on this setting in the bios? Is there a permanent way to increase power without needing to run software every time you run Windows?

I’ve made a full driver dump using DoubleDriver and I read it’s very easy to cherry-pick the drivers needed if Windows gives you ‘Unrecognized device’ errors after a reinstall, correct? I read that you can simply select the Unidentified Device, and point Windows to the full driver dump, and it will somehow know which one to use….is this correct?
