Update: 28th June. Gearbest just informed me via email that my EZBook 3 Pro Dual Band version just shipped and I have the tracking number and everything. This was ordered on the 13th, my 17th order has yet to ship so it’s first in, first served.
Update: Jumper’s official store is now selling this model called the EZBook 3 Pro (version 3) with Wireless AC and SSD slot. As we know version one is the first model with wireless N, no SSD slot, version 2 (One I reviewed) has the SSD slot and wireless N. And this new version 3 with the SSD and Wifi AC. Interesting to note that only the gold version is up for sale. No silver version, clearly GB bought all the stock.
Edit: I asked GB support when will my EZBook 3 Pro dual-band wireless AC ship and I was told that on the 25th they will have 600 units. So add a few days for shipping etc, looks like a two-week wait before it ships!
The Jumper EZBook 3 Pro is easily one of the best Apollo Lake laptop’s I’ve reviewed, just one issue. Single band RealTek wireless N. But it seems Jumper listened and have now got a Wireless AC model coming. Thanks to sportnok for pointing this out. At first, I thought it must be a listing error by Gearbest, which wouldn’t be the first time.
They say it does have an M.2 slot. Use this print screen if later we have issues.
But they confirmed in the Q&A section two things, it is indeed Wireless AC and it has the M.2 SSD slot. It’s priced at $219 and there are only 30 units left it you believe the stats. Not messing around, I ordered one as I really do need the wireless AC .I’ll sell my EZBook 3 Pro and replace it with this one.
Yes, I do buy my review units. And got it for $194 using up some of my points saved up from other orders… So a great deal for the spec.
