Cube or AllDoCube as they are also known as have a new 8-inch tablet coming, the X5 4G Or the Free Young X5 4G. Android 7.0 tablet with an 8-inch 1920 x 1200 screen. MediaTek 8783 quad-core. 3GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage. It has 4G, but the supported bands are pretty much only for China, but I do see some that will work at least with my carrier in Spain.
According to Gearbest it’s 4G: FDD-LTE 1800/2100MHz,TD-LTE Band 38/39/40/41 . Yeah, as I said limited bands for the rest of the world. Judging by the images it looks to have a metal body, but plastic top and bottom for the wireless and 4G antennas.
A single loudspeaker on the bottom and it is also dual SIM. But no mention of a MicroSD card slot, surely it’s there… 13-megapixel rear camera, 5Mp front camera and 3800mAh battery seems standard. But great to see the first Chinese brand tablet finally on Android 7.0 !
