ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 with Triple Cameras to Launch on December 11th

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2

Albeit not always as affordable as the Xiaomi competitor, ASUS is another company that usually brings great bang for the bucks phones to the market, such as the last ASUS ZenFone Max Pro, which for a while challenged Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro.

The successor of the ZenFone Max Pro – the ZenFone Max Pro M2 – did already surface the web around a week back, thanks to a tweet from renown leakster – Roland Quandt. In the tweet he was very specific about the upcoming handset and he also revealed there’ll be another non-Pro variant – the Asus Zenfone Max M2.

The first of the two, going with the model name ZB631KL will be the ZenFone Max Pro M2. The smartphone will supposedly pack a 6-inch Full HD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 CPU along with 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. It’ll then pack a triple rear camera setup and a 13MP selfie snapper.

Meanwhile, with the code name ZB633KL, we will have the ASUS ZenFone Max M2 coming with a 6-inch Full HD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 CPU, yet again 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB storage options. Being a more budget-friendly alternative it’ll “only” sport 2 rear cameras, while the 13MP front shooter stays in place.

Fast-forward to today and we have ASUS Indonesia’s Twitter profile tweeting about a launch event taking place on December 11th, with the hashtag #ZenFoneMaxProM2ID, clearly suggesting that the new handset will be unveiled that day.

If the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 actually packs the hardware mentioned above, maybe paired with a big battery like its predecessor (5000mAh), then we might be looking at a great entry-level gaming phone right there, possibly even an affordable one. Do you guys agree?
