The touchpad, wifi, sound card is working fine with the 165C bios & 165C drivers, after the “Load optimal defaults” bios settings.

It’s works like charm!
November 1, 2015 at 3:01 pm #14652do you really need an actual chinese phone number to register on baidu?
November 1, 2015 at 3:10 pm #14654I don’t think so, I managed to register without one a while again. I will try and get these files and mirror them to the site.
@david-laczko Thanks for file links.

Yes you need. But there is a trick. Do QQ registration (use google translate), this site accept international phone numbers too, after the registration is done, just connect to Baidu with your QQ account. I guess you need to download the baidu download manager (i don’t know the english name, because its mandarin), and with that you can download everything without limit (but be careful, the big file download works only with 32bit browsers or IE9).
November 1, 2015 at 3:14 pm #14656Thank you very much. I’m telling you, if this fixes my touch screen not working for a whole week i will personally send the op and you 10€ each, you have my word. (i know it’s not much but i’m really eager to fix this)
November 1, 2015 at 7:24 pm #14691I have the first model and it seems Chuwi have changed some hardware. Installing the new bios renders my touchscreen dead. Not even the new drivers fix it. So if your Vi10 is working fine, don’t update it! (If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it applies here)

November 1, 2015 at 9:08 pm #14707How do I install the drivers?
November 1, 2015 at 9:13 pm #14708AnonymousInactive- Posts: 12
With the .exe or if there is no executable file, than use the device manager
November 1, 2015 at 9:20 pm #14709Why do the intel driver installs with the executable files not work?
November 1, 2015 at 10:41 pm #14713I did a clean install of Windows 10.
So I tried to install the drivers in the device manager but that is all I can find there in other devices:
2x Generic SDIO Device
Multimediacontroller
8x Unknown Device
Also the Intel Atom Processor I2C Controllers have not the correct driver.
I can not find a bluetooth device, WLAN device, sensors or anything else.
In BIOS I can find all devices.
So what can I do?
November 1, 2015 at 11:31 pm #14715You have pro? Here is my hardware:
Not I have just the first 32GB model, 7 months old now and first hardware. This new bios must not be for the old units. I ended up flashing the old Windows 10 bios back and its all good now. Use the files from here: http://techtablets.com/2015/09/chuwi-vi10-windows-10-image-bios-update-and-drivers-released/
