Teclast TBOLT 10 DG 15.6″ 10th Gen Iris XE Windows Laptop Coming

Teclast’s website shows a new release laptop is on the way from them, a high-end one at that which will no doubt be expensive. It’s called the TBOLT 10 DG and the spec of it is quite interesting. An Intel Core i7 10510U 10nm SoC, this one has the newer gen Iris graphics the Xe Max (DG1) with 4GB of dedicated VRAM and 96 execution cores. Powerwise if the cooling is sufficient it’s around the same as an Nvidia GTX 1050 (Mobile) or MX350 so it will be able to game titles like GTA V 1080p or more demanding ones at 720p.

The laptop has 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM 256GB SSD with support from NVMe and a spare secondary NVMe/Sata3 2280 drive bay. It runs Windows 10 Home has Wifi 6 (AX201) with Bluetooth 5.1 and the screen is a 15.6″ IPS 1920 x 1080 with 72% NTSC coverage.

The build is mostly metal with a metal body, lid, and underside with dual cooling fans inside and a large 70Wh battery. Port wise it has full spec Type-C 3.2 Gen 2, USB 3.0 Type-A x 2, and USB 2.0 with an SD card reader. I can also see in the press imagines a gigabit LAN port and a D/C port for charging. The keyboard is a full-sized one with a number pad and it’s backlit.

Overall it looks like a promising release from Teclast and I hope to be able to get hold of one to review! Any guesses on the price tag? My guess at least $599-$649 USD if not more.

The release date is unknown at this point. More info on Teclast’s website here.

  1. this is the perfect product for worktime.

  2. They need to learn that 8gb does not cut it anymore, nor does 256gb of storage.

  3. not bad

  4. mWh of course…. not mAh 😉

  5. Looks interesting, I”d like them to go put 16GB memory in but at least not a slow Celeron or old core type again…

Btw love my Teclast F6 Pro, use it every day. First battery… now down to 43400 mAh but still going strong.

  6. I bought earlier the Teclast X3 Pro and battery went down quickly and after returning it, I received a new one after 2 or 3 months and the battery went out of order after a few weeks. Never again a Teclast tablet !

  7. Overpriced I’m sure of it, why by this over an HP, Acer or Dell??? Tectrash
