A direct execution of Android, not a virtual Android machine:   boot from pendrive loaded with Android without installation.  It takes longer to load than the Android emulator that Teclast provides, but it runs much better and without the size limitations the emulator has.  Just remember to select “run without installation” when the pendrive boots.  You can make an uSD card bootable and go through UEFI (hold F7 during power-on, go to Setup … unless you know EFI scripting and can use the EFI script option) when you want to use Android.

ORdual boot Win 10/Android (Win partition shrunk, new volume for Android created from freed-up space, Android installed).  Haven’t tried this.

Having the space to dual boot, and still have all the room you need for Windows apps, videos, music, etc., is one of the many reasons to replace the Foresee 64 GB M.2 drive in an X2 Pro with a larger M.2 SSD.  And being able to replace the boot drive with a larger SSD, and install a 4G SIM and modem, make the X2 Pro very attractive.

Great approach. Thank you for pointing that out.
So, have you/anyone tried a generic Android x86 ISO? How well does it work with Teclast models?

    Hey there,

I tried to install Android on my X2 but failed somehow to do it properly. I followed this tutorial. The first problem occured when creating the partition since the X2 has a GPT partition and the steps were slightly different. I could then boot to Android, but it didn’t recognize Wifi and most default apps failed to start. Most of the times it restarted Android when trying to open apps.
Furthermore during the installation I had overwritten the Windows boot entry. It took me a while to figure out how to repair the boot record.

Does anyone know how to properly install Android with working Wifi or does someone know a good emulator with Android 5+?

hi, I tried to install Android dual-boot with Windows but do not understand why not even part of the driver installation
from USB... someone can explain to me what the UEFI BIOS settings I need to set??
I can not understand if I enable/disable them "quiet boot", "fast boot"....
Someone I can explain the right settings??
if I choose as the first drive to boot the USB key part though windows instead of starting the installation from USB...
    Sorry for bad english...

Press F7 when the Teclast-Logo appears, then you have to choose “UEFI” – then it should boot from USB…

there is no way to run the USB boot with the Windows USB tool (really weird!) I solved using Rufus, I would also add that I installed the first version of the remix OS 2.0 and WiFi did not work, the USB either. .. without internet you could not do much, so I uninstalled it and let it go …. then I tried again a few days ago and, with the new update, now it all works wonderfully! the experience is interesting even if it is only a beta …. the only flaw is that with OS remix, for now, warms it! I hope I have given some interesting info …
