That’s very interesting. In the developers site they state the minimum requirements as
Minimum System Requirements
-
A USB 3.0 flash drive that supports FAT32 format, with a minimum capacity of 8GB and a recommended writing speed of 20MB/s.
-
A PC with USB legacy boot option.
I believe some of the tablets might cover these. I guess we have to wait for a week to see for ourselves.
January 11, 2016 at 1:10 pm #21893Sure, Cube get it in the Remix model, with an older Atom chip than Teclast last models:

January 11, 2016 at 3:47 pm #21910That’s RemixOS 1.0. David is talking about RemixOS 2.0
January 11, 2016 at 3:58 pm #21914You can already download it:

January 11, 2016 at 10:45 pm #21963I think the current version (the one that leaked) is not compatible with the uefi bios that runs on most devices out there. Maybe they will release something different tomorrow.

The official release is also Legacy Boot only. There is some talk on Google groups that a uefi version will be released soon.
This link seems to have the most up to date info on this.

January 13, 2016 at 6:42 am #22171A guy over at reddit created a EFI image. Anyone willing to try?
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2cSlWc2yl7ET3ZkRGNqVzJLdjA/view?usp=sharing
Created from the last official image that included Gapps. This is an EFI only system. Extract the contents of the REMIXDRIVE folder to a FAT32 formatted drive. Then select the drive at boot. Uses a 4GB data.img for persistence.
If you so choose you can copy the AndroidOS folder to a regular partition and use http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=824154 to create a bigger data.img. Then whenever you want to boot Remix you can just put in the flash drive and it will automatically find the AndroidOS folder on the root of an existing partition.
EDIT: This works on both 32bit EFI only systems like the Asus T100 or any EFI system that’s 64bit.
January 13, 2016 at 8:41 am #22184I want to replace my android partition on my Teclast x98 Air iii with remix os, could someone provide instructions on how to do it?

I tried it. It boots but it throws an error code (secure boot? Where do we disable it??) but continues to load. Then the screen goes black and the drive is active for a good 2 minutes. Waited 10+ minutes….screen still black. It seems like the OS is mounted as when I move around the mouse the usb drive lights up, just I can’t see what’s going on!

January 13, 2016 at 1:53 pm #22215From what I ‘ve seen in the forums, in order to boot properly you will need to disable secure boot by going to the bios.
