The latest version is V1.08 but there’s no files on Teclast’s website.
I googled about OTA updating rooted phones or tablets.
They say that OTA updating removes their root access in most cases.

I tried but it did not work me … my tablet is the E3E7 1.6
Perhaps because previous attempts with other solutions but it does not work with both boot.img (1.6 and 1.7).

Someone has an update of this tablet ???
it is no way to download from the web Chinese and English version is not found

This is a ver.1.07 file.
By the way, could you try OTA updating to Ver.1.08 if your tablet get rooted?

I have already installed many apps so it’s gonna be hard to restore them all if I fail in updating or lose root access.

You should remove Chinese characters from a folder name before you flash it.

If you installed TWRP in tablet, TWRP not be able to install the updates.
You have to change in the Toolbox folder, recovery.img to your flash and 6.Flash-ORIGINAL-recovery.bat – (optional) back to original Firmware Recovery.

In this case you will lose ROOT, I would not advise you to update via OTA.
If there is free access v1.08, I lay out here boot.img is modified to install TWRP through.

Если вы установили TWRP в планшет, TWRP не сможет установить обновления.
Вы должны изменить в папке Toolbox, recovery.img на свой и прошить 6.Flash-ORIGINAL-recovery.bat – (optional) back to original Firmware Recovery.

При этом вы потеряете ROOT, я бы вам не советовал обновлять через OTA.
Если есть в свободном доступе v1.08, выложите сюда boot.img я его модифицирую для установки через TWRP.

got it all sorted out and upgraded my e3e7 to 1.08. fairly simple once I managed to open a Baidu account (use firefox; and Google translate is your friend 🙂 ). No need for a CN cell phone for that, btw.

1.08 is working fine, no wifi issues or anything the like. can reco it.
