I finally got the courage to walk into an Apple Store and pick up an iPad Air. It’s been a long time since I’ve had an Apple product, I like their hardware, but I HATE thier iTunes software, lack of drag and drop and I still remember how it missed up my music collection and lagged up my whole computer back when I had a iPhone 3G all those years ago.

So I have it only for comparison purposes since it is what a lot of thses Chinese tablets are cloning nowadays. I decided to compare it quickly to the Teclast X98 Air 3G and the Onda V919, The Onda being the most clone like of the two, with is similar button layout and with a home key looking a lot like the iPad Air.

Screen wise you’ll be shocked (Not really) to learn they are almost 100% identical, they have the same horrible gap between the glass and the IPS panel and of course the same LG retina display with a nce 264 PPI. The physical comparisons are below:
