I get a lot of questions on YouTube, which is these two dual boot tablets is the best? Cube i6 or the Teclast X98 Air 3G? Well I made this comparison video to hopefully help people in their choice. And I tried to cover everything apart from gaming as they are both about the same. Okay so 2.16 Ghz Vs 1.8Ghz battle on these atoms, Z3736F Vs Z3735F there is really nothing between them in the real world. The Z3736F is only just a little ahead of the Z3735F in single core/single thread benchmarks, that’s about it!
Here are some of my findings:
Cube i6 over the X98 Air 3G:
- Cheaper
- A Better build quality overall, feels better in hand. More solid.
- Mirco sim slot with a tray
- Comes in black
- Faster eMMC drive
- Best stock Android, very Nexus like experience, no bloat!
Teclast X98 Air 3G over the Cube i6:
- Z3736F CPU that is a fraction faster at single threads.
- 64GB option
- Has HDMI out, the Cube i6 only has Miracast wireless display
- Slightly better screen brightness, better colours and blacks. The Cube i6 has what appears to be a light matte coating on the IPS panel.
- Large XDA backing and custom roms.

So it really boils down to this, do you need hdmi output, do you want 64GB drive with a slower and more bloated Android stock rom? Get the Tecalst X98 Air 3G
Want a better build quality? Want a black unit and not a white one, you want a nice stock Android rom with no bloat and you don’t want to have to mod Android roms or flash etc. Get the Cube i6!
Camera’s they seem about the same and so far battery life is equal dispute the 500mah advantage the X98 Air has in capacity.

And remember that unlike these other sites around that so called review Chinese tablets, I’m in Europe (Not China), I’m in no way connection to these tablet manufactures.
