Teclast X1 Pro 4G Internals Reveal Replaceable SSD & Modem

An official press photo of the internals of the Telast X1 Pro 4G reveals the Core M 5Y10C’s heat spreader, motherboard and various other components inside this 12.2 inch Surface Pro 3 clone. Judging by the look of it mSata or M.2 slots in the tablet, both the modem and the 128GB are replaceable and upgradable if you wanted to swap the 128gb drive out for a larger 256GB or 512GB one. Opening it might be a bit tricky however. I can also see it has RealTek wireless and audio chips, dc power jack below the 2 x usb 3.0 ports and what looks to be only a 2 pole 3.5mm audio jack.

While the features of the Teclast X1 Pro 4G are promising, it’s price isn’t really that attractive at around $630 direct from Teclast the X1 Pro is priced a bit to close to the Surface Pro 3, Asus UX305 and Dell Venue 11 Pro 7140. And when you add on that this price doesn’t include the Magnetic keyboard cover and what retailers that ship outside of China will throw on top it’s pricey. Still with specs like 4G/LTE and 2 x USB 3.0 ports do make it one to keep an eye on, as well as that large 11000mAH battery and 2560 x 1600 high res display.

I would love to pick up one of these to compare it to the $399 Cube i7 Core M I’m waiting for DHL to deliver next week, it will be my first of hopefully many Core M Chinese tablets I’ll review. But the price needs to drop some what.
