While we wait for the Chuwi Hi8 Pro which has been delayed. Chuwi’s Vi8 Plus, a black Hi8 with an 1280 x 800 screen has been released.
Banggood.com has it in stock now for $99, and I’ve just ordered one for review here on the site and YouTube channel.
The Vi8 specs are the same as the Hi8 Pro. Just the screen is the only change and it’s now in black. Specs include:
- USB 3.0 Type C port
- Micro HDMI port
- MicroSD card slot (Supports high-speed cards)
- Intel Atom X5 Z8300 (1.84Ghz max boost)
- 2GB DDR3L Single channel Ram
- 1280 x 800 IPS screen.
