Searching the internet today, I found BetaNews has a hands-on article on the Chuwi Hi12, what’s interesting is they have the keyboard. Something that seems only some websites are lucky enough to get sent to them. Note that the touchpad is now grey in color and not white! But still the keys are still white, grey or black would be so much nicer looking.
But still no word on when exactly this keyboard dock for the Hi12 will even ship. Banggood just sent me another email stating it’s out of stock (again) and if I wish to cancel, order something else or wait. The ETA of the keyboard has been pushed out about 4 times and now it’s only listed as “coming soon” GearBest, Geekbuying and all the other retailers also have no stock, so it’s defiantly a supply issue. The Hi12 has also just been released as a Dual Boot with Android 5.1 and Windows 10 Home.
Ugly? The first press images of the keyboard showed a white trackpad too. At least that has been changed, now change the keys to black please Chuwi!
