So it seems Chuwi’s saw the success of the Jumper EZbook 2 and decided to create their own laptop, called the Chuwi Lapbook. This Atom X5 Z8300 powered notebook has 4GB of RAM, 64GB eMMC and runs Windows 10. It’s got a large 10,000 mAh battery, Wireless AC ,Bluetooth 4.0 and HDMI out. Sadly no Z8350 or wireless AC.
It’s 15.6 inches with a 1080p screen, styling looks very MacBook-ish. One thing I discovered reviewing the Jumper EZbook 2 is without a touch screen and the right optimized drivers the Atom X5 Z8300 can feel a lot quicker in a laptop. I’m hoping without the touch hardware the same will go for this LapBook.
