JDTab J01 Now Listed On Banggood.com

JD.com’s very own tablet is coming, the J01 as it’s labeled, is a joint venture between JD.com, Foxconn, Meizu, LeEco and Harman Kardon.

It’s powered by a MediaTek MT8173 SoC with PowerVR GX6260 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB eMMC and speakers from Harman Kardon, UI by Meizu (It will run Flyme) and the CNC metal housing and the rest is made by Foxconn. The battery will be 6200mAh in size and the screen is a 7.9-inch 2048 by 1536 one, same as the iPad Mini 4.

GPS is on board as well as Wireless N and USB type-C port. Which I hope supports display out at least which is one thing the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 lacks.

It’s listed on Banggood now for $285 and I expected this one to be a JD.com only exclusive, so glad to see one retailer so far has it listed to sell. It looks interesting, shame it isn’t dual OS and no 4G or Wireless AC even.

Thanks Mathias for pointing this one out to me.
