The review for the EZbook 3 Pro went up yesterday on the YouTube channel and today my rating of 8.4. Which means it’s one of the best Celeron N3450 laptop’s I’ve reviewed so far. I love this build on this thing, all metal. The keyboard is a massive step over the EZBook 2 and 3’s keyboards of flex and bounce. This one is firm, good to type on. The extra 2GB of RAM helps Windows feel a bit faster, sadly they didn’t add wireless AC so those of you out there looking to push more than 54 Mbps up and down will be disappointed and have to restore to using a USB adaptor if you want wireless AC.
The screen is decent, but not as bright as it could be. But since it’s anti-glare the brightness is still good enough and no annoying reflections. Performance is decent for this type of chipset. Thermals are also great. Overall a nice thin and light portable laptop with great battery life. It’s good enough for light tasks, office, web browsing and light gaming. The EZbook 3 Pro review is above and the rating with full detailed Pros and Cons here. For you, Linux lover’s sadly I could not get any distro’s to boot I tried on the laptop.
Gearbest are selling it for $229, but this version doesn’t have the M.2 Slot.
I’ll be reviewing more Apollo Lake laptops, since there are more than there are laptops and they are improving. Coming soon, the CivilTop Air, Chuwi Lapbook 12.3 and possibly the EZBook 3S ( 6GB RAM + 240GB SSD version of the EZbook 3). And maybe the Onda Xiaoma 31, basically the same as this EZB3P, but with Wifi AC 4GB of RAM and fingerprint reader.
Also ordered the Voyo vBook V3 Core i5 7200U model, it was requested a few times. This one coming next month I think.
