Chuwi’s new 10.1″ 2560 x 1600 deca-core Android 8.0 tablet is now listed and up for sale on Gearbest.com, it’s a flash sale priced at $219.99 and according to the website shipping between the 12th and 15th so it seems they are due to get stock very soon.
I’m waiting for my Hi9 Air that has already shipped, and Bangood just recently stopped taking orders for some reason and Chuwi has posted that they are being shipped but there was a delay. Sent out now in order of first ordered, first served.
I’ve already reviewed the AllDoCube X1, this has the same chipset and screen resolution but at 8.4-inches. Not a bad tablet, but two things I didn’t like was the limited 4G bands, this Chuwi Hi9 has at least global band support. And the other thing was the performance in demanding online games like PUBG it ran okay, but after 10 minutes demonstrated some bad lag, hopefully, the Hi9 Air has better thermals to avoid throttling like that its Mali-T880 GPU is also clocked 80Mhz more. But I will of course test that out when my unit arrives just how well it handles gaming.
So far the Chuwi Hi9 Air looks the most promising of the new Helio X20 dec-core tablets. let’s hope it lives up to it’s promising looking spec sheet.
