If you happen to like this type of content, we might then extend it to other brands, product categories and whatnot!

New Products

As we all well know, Xiaomi are renown for having an insane amount of items in their portfolio, so it’s not too surprising to see them launch a microwave – yes, you read that right! The Xiaomi Yunmi is a microwave with a 3D all-around heating, which combines the functions of a traditional steamer and an oven with a power output of 2100W. The machine can achieve a temperature of 115°C in steaming mode, meanwhile roast mode will get you up to  230°C. Xiaomi’s microwave isn’t one of their most affordable gadgets though, at around 1499 Yuan ($220).

After you enjoy eating what you cooked with the microwave above, you should probably go for a quick run, but how do you keep track of your progress? With the latest Xiaomi Hey+ smart band, of course! The wearable features a 0.95-inch AMOLED display with a 240x240p resolution, it weighs 19.7g and it’s made from a thermoplastic elastomer. It then comes with a 120mAh battery, an NFC module and supports Bluetooth 4.2LE. The Hey+ will sell for 299 Yuan ($43).

Along with the smart band you might want to get a sweet pair of super affordable wireless earphones, such as Xiaomi Sports Bluetooth Headset Youth Edition. These $15 earphones come with 10mm strong magnetic moving coil unit, they are IPX4 rated, which means protection from sweating and light water splashes. On a full charge they can run for 11 at medium volume, meanwhile autonomy drops to 6 hours at maximum volume.

Finally, Xiaomi also launched a new gaming keyboard, namely called “Xiaomi Game Keyboard” at just 229 yuan ($33). The keyboard sports 3mm key-travel and a return rate of up to 1000Hz thanks to the Sonix 32-bit ARM master MCU, which will grant quick reaction times while gaming. The Xiaomi Game Keyboard comes with 33 keys and RGB dynamic light effects with color modes, color switching, speed and brightness adjustment.

Xiaomi are always working on a various amount of devices at any time of the year, so rumors are never scarce. This week we’ve been hearing a lot about the upcoming Xiaomi Pocophone F1, a flagship spec’ed device that is expected to cost less than $500. This is more of a physical upgrade than an update but the beautiful Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S is now coming in an Emerald Green ceramic variant, we still aren’t sure about its pricing, but we definitely love how it looks!

Finally, staying in the Mi MIX 2S topic, the smartphone is now receiving Android 9.0 Pie beta, which is quite exciting for those who own the phone and are willing to trying the Google’s latest OS.
