It’s hard to believe that a website & Youtube channel that I started out of my frustration in finding decent reviews of the tablets and mobiles coming out if China. Back when you could only find very poor quality videos from Aliexpress or other Chinese retailers in broken English telling you how amazing the tablet or mobile was and only just selling it “You buy now” type videos of these brands. But nowadays even the 10 million subscriber+ big guys want in on the alternative Chinese brands.
Armed with only my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 back then and recording in 4k (almost nobody did then) I set out to post some very basic videos on these cheaper alternatives from China I imported. Trying to give people a good impression of at least what to expect, any issues and if it really was something you should consider or not compared to the mainstream brands. As time went by I bought better cameras, moved out of my little room, rented an apartment just for the channel, some studio lighting and tried to spruce things up a little without resorting to pulling stupid faces for clickbait thumbnails. And the site and channel has grown as more and more became apart of this community looking alternative tech without the mainstream brand price tag.
I hope to have you as a reader and viewer for the next milestone and I do plan on keeping things the same going forward.
