Teclast T20 with Mediatek Helio X27 & 2.5K Display Listed Online

Teclast T20

Apparently there was a reason behind the drop in price for the still very good Teclast Master T10 we covered a couple days back, and that is the imminent launch of its successor – the Teclast T20.

The new tablet is indeed now listed over on Gearbest, where you can currently submit to receive an arrival notice. According to the website, the Teclast T20 will be packing a MediaTek MT6797X ( Helio X27) deca-core clocked at 2.6Ghz, which we aren’t sure is really an upgrade over the MT8176 of the Master T10. Along with the new CPU we then get 4GB of DDR3L RAM and 64GB eMMC ROM that is, of course, expandable via microSD to up to 256GB.

The Teclast T20 will be sporting a large 10.1-inch fully laminated Sharp display with 2560 x 1600 resolution (probably the exact same panel as the T10), with a high resolution 13MP camera above it to snap selfies or videochat, same resolution for the rear camera as well.

The biggest upgrade over the predecessor is the new SIM slot that will allow it to connect to 4G LTE networks all around the globe, at least according to the product page. Other specs include a large 8100mAh battery with quick charge support through the USB Type-C port, a fingerprint scanner on the back, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi AC, a 3.5mm audio jack and Android 7.0 Nougat as OS.
