After a few poor releases lately from Jumper it seems they found a decent ODM build to use. This Jumper X3 Pro I have had for the last 2 days is a welcomed change from the last plastic cheap-feeling models. The build is all metal apart from the plastic keyboard keycaps with are sliver but much easier to read than the BMAX Y13’s. It’s a backlit keyboard with raised keys, a full-sized keyboard with good travel, noise, and feedback. And that backlit is even, unlike the BMAX Y13. Overall after 2 days, it’s great to type on.
The palm rest, outer frame, lid and underside is all metal like the EZbook 3 Pro. The build is thin and a light 1.29 kilos. It has a good finish to it overall and the build is solid. The touchpad is large and wide with good accuracy and so far no issues. Below is a little preview of the unit why I use it for the next week working on my full review.

CPU & RAM
We have 8GB of dual-channel LPDDR3 RAM running at 2133Mhz. The Celeron N4100 has the default 6W power limit, but the bios is unlocked and so far thermals are good permitting a 9-10W TDP without issues. The intel wireless AC is an uncommon 9461 which I hoped was in M.2 card format so it could be upgraded. However, a peek at the internals confirms this is soldered to the mainboard so no upgrades just our SSD which is an Intel 180GB SATA3 2280 sized drive. Shocked to see Intel and not Netac, Forsee or Kingspec which is more common and slower.
Price and weaknesses?
The price is the lowest of the N4100 8GB laptops at $299. So what’s the downside there as to be one? The usual suspects of course, although it has 4 speakers at the top they are tiny, weak and not that great. But not exactly deal-breakers, there is software to boost the volume. The screen isn’t full laminated but it’s just a small 1mm gap so not too much of an issue but a matte coated screen like the EZbook 3 Pro would have been better.
The Type-C port I can confirm is full spec USB 3.1 and works fine with my power deliver Amazon power supply and PowerAdd 99Wh PD power bank.
After 2 days my Pros and Cons
Pros:
- All metal build like the EZBook 3 Pro days
- Full spec PD support Type-C USB 3.1 and full-sized USB 3.0
- MicroSD, 3.5mm
- The keyboard is good to type on, backlit with good travel and feeback
- Internals look good, nice layout and screwed in place all internals
- The IPS is bright and better than the EZBook 3 Pro’s blue tint matte panel
- 38Wh battery looks to last like others. 6-7+ hours Chrome use for example. 9-10 hours just video
- Intel Wireless AC + BT 5.0
- Windows 10 Home version 1903. Legit activation
- Thin and light 1.29 kilo build
- Clean 3.5mm audio output
- Current price is $299, cheaper than the other N4100 8GB RAM laptops
- Intel SSD, faster than the other typical brands
Cons
- The screen isn’t fully laminated so more reflective (However small 1mm gap)
- Speakers still aren’t that great even if they are 4 speakers Vs typical 2 speakers.
- Webcam quality seems poor, 720p HD but no so sharp and bit laggy
- A certain angles some backlit bleed under the keyboard keys
- Type-C port doesn’t seem to want to output 4k60 which it is meant to support. My hubs and adaptors don’t like it.
- The drive is only 180GB (144GB free on first use) Other brands use 256GB drives
