Here are some new tablet deals I spotted on the web while searching price drops. The popular Chuwi Hi8 is back on sale again at the price of $92 at Gear Best, it’s been reduced from $112. This little Atom Z3736F powered 8-inch tablet has a nice high res 1920 x 1200 16:10 IPS Panel. And a decent design, you can see my Chuwi Hi8 review here.
The PiPo X8 is a hybrid tablet meets mini PC, I video review it here a few days ago. I’m quite impressed with it, it adds a new element to TV mini pcs with its 7″ screen. It has a super-fast Samsung eMMC, with 170 MB/s reads and 120 MB/s writes (at least my one did) It’s the fastest eMMC 4.51 spec I have tested to date and I have tested a few. It’s price has been slashed from the $143 I paid to now just $103.89 at GearBest.com, not a bad saving. There are 5 days left on this deal.
The Pipo X8 mini dual boot PC
Finally the Teclast X98 Air 3G 64GB, which is one of my favorite dual boot retina tablets has also dropped in price, now down to $201.49 at Banggood.com which is the lowest price around I could find on the web for the 64GB model. Which I recommend, as the 32GB one has only around 10GB free in Windows and 6GB in Android. It’s not really enough for most users.
