Chuwi have done well in the 8 inch dual boot segment, this is their 3rd dual boot eight incher and the Hi8 looks exactly like the Chuwi Vi8 Ultimate edition released about the same time.

The Chuwi Hi8 is basiclly an upgrade of the Vi8 Ultimate. Sharing the exact same build and Atom Z3736F chipset, the Hi8 has a sharper, brighter 1920 x 1200 display with 299 PPI. Dual boot Android 4.4.4 and Windows 8.1 come stock at the time of release.

So I have the 4th Chuwi Vi8 model you could say, the Hi8 with it’s Vi8 Ultimate design, chipset and lack of HDMI. It has a very sharp (iPad Retina sharp) 1920 x 1200 screen that is brighter than the Chuwi Vi8 Ultimate.
