Possibly one of the poorest tablets I have yet to review, the Onda v820w CH. Its review is now finally online. It took me far too long to finish this review because it was just plain painful to finish.
It’s online and the first X5 Z8300 I have reviewed isn’t any faster than an Atom Z3735F! But I think and hope it’s down to Onda’s poor optimization.
I clearly see why Onda never replies to my review unit emails, they don’t want reviews outside of China as it will affect their international sales. My last three No, in fact all of the Onda’s I have reviewed so far have been so average, the v116w was literally falling to bits on me, the v919 Air 3G was average and the v919 3G Core M a complete waste of a good Core M 5Y10 and retina screen. So best keep away from this brand.
My eight-inch tablet hopes rest with Cube’s iwork8 Ultimate, Teclast’s X80 Plus/Pro model’s and Chuwi’s Hi8 Pro. Surely those tablets offer higher quality and not a step backwards in terms of performance from the previous Atom generation?
Check out my review here: Onda v820w CH Review. Be sure to see the good and bad points at the bottom of the page, it’s a doozy.
