if you want to know how much power the charger is providing to your tablet, you can buy USB ammeters on ebay for a couple of dollars.

this would let you know how much your  tablet is pulling from the power supply, try it with different combinations of cables and chargers and see what results you get, then just choose whichever one charges the tablet the quickest. (some of the cheap chinese cables have incredibly thin conductors in them, and restrict the amount of power your device can get from the charger)

i have a HTC on M7, which i often found to be charging REALLY slowly (5-6 hours for a full charge)  and i ended up finding out with the assistance of one of these adapters, that the cable i was using made the phone charge at the same speed as if i had it just plugged into a computers USB port…  and after measuring a few different chargers,i was able to find a combination that let the phone charge at its full rated power.
