It’s been proven that the cause of this problem is a certain fingerprint reader. It made the CPU run 100% all the time which obviously ruined battery life aswell. Turning the fp reader off solves the problem however we are waiting for an update from Xiaomi so that we can use the fingerprint reader too. This is really a shame.
