Yeah, it said it was expired when I ordered mine. They should remove it from the page if that’s the case.

The $40 off was off of $269, it’s now $249, so there is only a $20 difference without the coupon.

I would hope your not really “back to square one”. The tablet “promo” will end shortly and the coupon will work after that. It really is a fantastic tablet and I won’t be so pretentious as to say it’s worth the extra $20 or anything because $20 can be a lot or a little. I think it’s more a matter of do you want to pay the extra $20 today or wait for the “promo” to end 🙂 In either instance I think you will end up with a tablet you will love as there really isn’t anything else like the Hi12 on the market right now (Aspect Ratio, Atom Processor, True Dual Boot, 4gigs of ram)

Budget and time limit is kind of strict. Most of my expendable funds went to dealing with the brown recluse bite on my arm lol. And I’m going out of town soon so waiting on this sale to end is slightly problematic.

I think I am going to order mine off of aliexpress because one of the suppliers has domestic returns here in the US in case anything goes wrong. Plus they have DHL for faster delivery.

I buy a lot of small items on AliEx but with a big purchase like a tablet it’s safer to stick with one of the big suppliers. At least that way you’re less likely to get something intended for the local market only. I learned that the hard way with a Ramos tablet I bought that had a Chinese only single language version of Windows and I had to buy Windows again from Microsoft to reinstall.

I made a request to banggood and they reduced the price and cancelled the coupon.

now it is evene cheaper than before… 225 new price vs 229 old price

Thank you alessandro. You’ve made my decision rather difficult — to buy the Hi12 now or wait for the Remix edition or see what the Teclast Tbook12 layout has to offer. 🙂
