You’re the first person I’ve heard of having this problem with it. I think you had bad luck with the unit they sent you. It shouldn’t be in the Chinese language, either. I would contact them ON FACEBOOK where they are actually very responsive and want to look good! I bet you anything they’ll straighten this out.

just found another negative too, the wifi signal is really poor, I guess this is due to the metal back, Chuwi should look at using the antena in the same way as htc do running along the metal casing.

Also the touch screen sometimes is not as responsive as it should be in windows in places but this may be due to the faulty screen, I haven’t used android yet as it is all in Chinese.

Photos of the screen inclusions, it was difficult taking pictures from a reflective screen.

Did you remove the screen protector yet? It looks like you have bubbles under it.

LOL, yes I have removed the screen protector, I thoight initially that this was under the screen protector, but it isen’t, it looks really strange as if under plastic but it’s definitly under the glass.

By screen protector you do mean the one with the writing on it, there isn’t another one under this protector is there?!?

I have heard in user reviews for Chuwi tabs that there’s another screen protector under the one with writing. It’s supposed to be a factory applied one like you might get for yourself anyway. But you should remove it! On Amazon reviews, when customers complain about bubbles in the glass, other owners tell them to remove the plastic cover!

Damn Andy you are so right, it was so difficult to remove the second screen protector, I feel so stupid now, this is great no distracting bubbles on the screen now.

Now just need to fix the all in Chinese android and the wifi receiving signal and it will be getting nearer to where it should be.

Thank you again for pointing the screen protector to me, greatly appreciated.

NB, I’m really glad to hear it was truly just their poorly applied screen protector! I bet the screen feels and looks better now, too.

Yes, feels great, thanks mate, I will be looking for a solution next to changing Android to English instead of Chinese and hopefully eventually a hardware mod perhaps to the poor wifi signal.

I planned on doing a mod to increase wifi strength too. If you do, please start a new thread and share what you did and how well it worked. I’ll do the same… In 2-5 weeks after I receive mine! It shipped, but “expedited” apparently means “slow” in Chinese!

Expedited, means you will most than likely get it via DHL, be prepared to pay some VAT, I have noticed that the wifi is a little better when on Android, it might be just the different times of the day I have tied it though.
