Clip and programmer ordered… 10 € exactly. Will be there in 10 day, at the same time than the tablet.
April 11, 2016 at 11:24 am #33026I sure hope to see some progress on bios unlocking.
April 17, 2016 at 6:17 am #33866Anything yet? Been few days hope to see some news on this. I really need to sort bois for my tweak/mod guide for this tablet. Hope to hear soon.
Hi friend, came to me the programmer and clip for the firmware, but do not hurry with a BIOS update, since our type of BIOS with a voltage of 1.8 V , and as already known, the programmer outputs 3.3 V , but 3.0 in I froze. And so , to protect yourself, and you in the future, I ordered today and the adapter lower the voltage to 1.8 V for our BIOS. What would not burn the chip and what if in the future you can safely flash the BIOS and to put experiments on him.

Yes but i’m not flashing it with a flasher. That’s why people with flashers test and unlock bios and then figure out how to make it flash on tablets without a flasher. Its the sole reason not everyone will do this. For the sake of my guide for this tablet needs to be kept reasonable. I would flash but i don’t have the time or many tablets encase of a bad flash even worse than others got. You never know that kind of stuff should be left to people with flashing those chips. I just want to create a guide to make your moneys worth on it. Changing bios settings will increase tons performance.
April 25, 2016 at 2:22 am #34948Hi,
Recently i bricked my device. Successfully i flashed bios bin file on chip. Even i verified it was same with file. But still it didnt get started. After research i foubd that mina was giga device gd25lq64cvig eeprom. I think teclast has given bios firmware for wind it seems. Can anybody confirm what is actual eeprom chip name is it winbond W25Q64FW or W25Q64FWSIG? Or whether same firmware will it work for gigadevice as well?
