It depends, if the soul reason is protection of the non hardened glass, then yes. But if you are carefull and have the patience to wait for the glass?

Once you’ve used a tempered glass one you won’t settle for plastic anymore.. Unless it affects the quality of the touch like on the x98 plus.

I’m waiting on my Chuwi Hi12 to show up from Gearbest. After looking around aliexpress a bit I found this case:

It seems pretty expensive for what it is at $18.77 but it would be both protection and a stand at the same time.
The name of the case states that it’s for the Surface Pro 4/Pro 3 but the detailed description below shows it as a Chuwi Hi12 case.
I checked with the seller and they state that the dimensions of the case (more like a “sleeve” really) is 32 x 24 Cm which should fit the Hi12’s 29.7 x 20.3 cm size quite nicely.
Does anyone have any better ideas at this stage?

It depends what you want, doesn’t it? They are not the exact same product but with different price-tags.

…If you want matte/anti-glare, go for that…if you want transparency and/or glass, go for the respective product.

I bought a 7.99 euros anti-glare screen protector, but I was also provided with small-smartphone samples (generic size) for the two more expensive products…

Tried the samples on my smartphone…they don’t fit but do a great job and really easy to apply.

Installed the cheaper anti-glare on my Teclast x98 Plus…the screen does get grainy, but eye-strain is really-really limited; minimum reflections.

I wound up ordering the case from my previous post. I’ll put a review here or in a new thread when I receive and start using it.

I noticed that the screenprotector site mentioned by vgiozo has a privacy screen as well – but it’s 45 GBP!!!!

Has anyone come across a privacy screen from China that could be adapted to our Hi12?

The privacy screen is such a stretch, I believe…but the “sunshade” variety it sells is still kind of pricey, but only really comparable to the “Healing Shield” products
