I think the problem is the bios
see the video, and the message when you try to install windows 8.1

I just updated bios to 64bit and installed Windows 10 from clean (Microsoft) image. I have tried this for serial 1029-3000 but i think it should work for everyone. Here is a short guide:
Bios:
- Download bios for your device if you dont have 64bit already:
a. serial number ending in 0001-1028: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1o6YH0TW
b. serial number ending in 1029-3000: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1c1k19ug <– tried this one for mine
c. serial number ending in 3000-5000: quick search didnt find the link
d. serial number ending in 5000-xxxx: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1jHapgrW - Format usb key with FAT32 and unpack the contents to the root
- Put USB into Hi10 and keyboard into the other usb port and reboot. While rebooting press F7 and boot from usb device, not microsoft something
- The upgrade process should start and after it finished for me it turned off my tablet
I got the links from here: http://bbs.chuwi.com/forum.php?mod=forumdisplay&fid=38&filter=typeid&typeid=63
Windows:
- Download drivers from the mega link provided by @swans and @prezmo:
https:// mega . nz/#F!r8N2EAJL!obFGbr7l7C_Mj8Q3_QVcfg!blkmUQ6R
The drivers file is here: V200&V300\C106(X64)–全部驱动.rar - Download Windows 10 official ISO either through MS tool (https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/windows10) or direct ISO (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/techbench). I used MS tool from another windows 10 machine and made .iso
- Make bootable USB with said iso by some tool. I used YUMI (http://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multiboot-usb-creator/)
- Stick usb into Chuwi in one USB port and keyboard in the other
- Power on the tablet and press F7 to show boot menu and choose USB to boot from. Install Windows. In the instalation i deleted all the pertitions that were originally created.
- When installed go into Device Manager and click through all the devices and install them from the drivers .rar – repeat untill no more unknown devices remain (beforehand unpack some .zips that are in the .rar, so windows finds those drivers easy) 🙂
- Wifi gets a bit tricky. I have Broadcom, but i guess it is similar to the other one. You have to manually copy the txt file (43430r0nvram.txt) from wifi folder in .rar to c:\windows\system32\drivers dir. Afterwards disable and enable wifi in computer management.
- Update windows
And enjoy 🙂
Most of the answers how to solve this i got from this thread, but the information was all over the place.
I hope this helps someone, it sure would have helped me save a lot of time.
Cheers
Update: i had to reinstall windows, so i figured out exact way to install wifi driver and i updated the instructions.

March 14, 2016 at 7:45 pm #29394I have Realtek so I don’t need the download. BUT.. This Bios has almost no functions I can configure. it’s a very sad bios. Is there any other way to get a Bios version that will allow me to tweak the bios like a user is supposed to?
March 14, 2016 at 8:19 pm #29400Hello, i got my Chuwi hi 10 today ( v200) so i reinstalled windows 10 , but i have issue with the Wifi Adapter. It installed correctly but i didn’t found any wifi points ? Can anyone help ?
March 16, 2016 at 11:48 pm #29711It seems there is a new BIOS available for download; but I can’t get past the login for some reason. No idea for what it may or may not bring, or will or won’t support. If anybody is feeling adventurous:
March 17, 2016 at 7:58 am #29743Thanks Fireant for the consolidated upgrade guide!
Is there anyone updated their 1st batch Hi10 to 64 bit bios and 64bit Windows 10? (serial no. 4215110000-1028)
I am going to do it this weekend and hopefully my Hi10 can be upgraded without big issues…
March 17, 2016 at 8:47 am #29749http://bbs.chuwi.com/thread-1924-1-1.html Someone from Chuwi posted some files on their forums. Looks like it’s the bios, windows 10 images and a word doc with installation instructions (in Chinese)
Because Chuwi is a chinese brand, so this link you post is Chuwi Chinese official website. You can find some official version files download from its english official forum.

March 20, 2016 at 8:46 am #30106I have just updated my Hi10 first batch (SN: 0001-1028) to 64 bit bios and 64 bits Windows 10 from the Chuwi official image. The upgrade is smoother than my expectations. After flashing the Windows 10, all drivers are installed. However the Broadcom WiFi is not stable under 64bit and it will sometimes disconnect, and Windows 10 power state failure occasionally occur during heavy network usage.
*after a few days usage on the newly upgraded 64 bit Windows, the WiFi seems much more stable, no more disconnect and I did not see the Power State Failure error happening again.

I have the same HI10 as you do, v200, the first batch. I updated the bios to 603 and put the windows 10 image available in this threat. The wifi works okey, no issues, I also updated the display drive to Intel(R) HD Graphics_20.19.15.4352.
My big problem is that the display is flickering a lot! the moment it booted with the new bios 603 it started. The HD graphics update of the driver made no improvement.
Any idea how to fix the flickering?
April 5, 2016 at 7:12 pm #32181Hello all i want to know that if i install and upgrade from 32bits to 64bits i can still use android? or ir i install the 64bit windows i can install android too
April 8, 2016 at 11:18 am #32655Guys,
I finally got the 32bit BIOS: https://www.dropbox.com/s/cib36w1vm8cioxs/Hi10%2032-bits%20BIOS.rar?dl=0
How do I strip down the .exe and .103 file to some files to put on a bootable usb and run in FreeDOS(just like the 32to64bits files!!!)? -
