You are right chris, but a russian user here wrote that on russian forum people are telling that dual boot files are about to be shared and at the moment seller could be emptying their stock upgrading and selling old chuwi hi12…
Once you receive that, can you recognize if there will be a new motherboard?
April 2, 2016 at 10:07 pm #31757I’ll look at the serial number and see if it’s any different. I hope Cube does release the files. Don’t see why it wouldn’t work, it’s the same hardware unless they used another bios chip for the dual os model.

April 6, 2016 at 3:28 am #32233Forget that noise. They said they shipped my Chuwi hi12 *and* keyboard. if I only get the hi12 and they try to refund my keyboard I’ll be getting my complete funds back.

I not sure about this, but did somebody in post #19 say he finally got it or is google translate incorrect somehow?: http://bbs.chuwi.com/thread-2648-2-1.html
Banggood said to me that the keyboard will be in stock on the 8th of April, I hope they are right.(probably not…)
April 6, 2016 at 11:35 am #32265Banggood just gives out numbers. On the 8th you will probably get an email saying that they are sorry and that it will be in stock on the 13th.
April 6, 2016 at 12:35 pm #32269I’ve give up all hope, when it arrives it arrives 🙁 Hopefully before new years 2017.
EDIT: Ha! I just got an email from Banggood about an hour after writing this to wait, cancel or order something else for this damn keyboard. I selected wait fo course, my Hi12 is a keeper and would be nice to have a keyboard for it, but my Logitech BT one is working well with it and the case acts as a good stand.

April 6, 2016 at 7:26 pm #32304What case and what model number for the logitech keyboard?
It’s this: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/tablet-keyboard-android-win8-rt
Bit of a crappy video, but you get the idea. It’s quite a good keyboard. You can get them on eBay for super cheap Around $15. Only thing is when using Chrome my Bluetooth mouse has some input delay/lag sometimes. And BT slows internet a little.

April 7, 2016 at 2:40 pm #32476Jesus…I ordered the keyboard a month ago with AliExpress and needed to cancel it as they couldn’t deliver it. I placed an order with another vendor a week ago and they now told me that the keyboards are out of stock. Chuwi is selling the Hi12 like crazy.
I need the original keyboard ASAP as the Bluetooth one I’m using is slowing my WiFi speed!
April 7, 2016 at 7:46 pm #32546I’ve ordered it 3 times, Aliexpress, GearBest then finally Banggood. But I just got a PM from someone say that it’s just been delivered the first batch to some retailers today! So we shall see if the are able to meet the demand or not.
If they are selling Hi12’s like crazy, then I think a good 60% or more will also want a keyboard? So they better ramp up production. Since they changed the touchpad color that could explain some of the delays, last minute design changes.
