You don’t understand why people want it?
1. Because the Hi12 was advertised with a keyboard and some of us got it because we intended on having a tablet and keyboard combo. If they didn’t say anything about releasing a keyboard or if I had known it would be delayed like this I would have bought a different tablet and keyboard combo.
2. $50? Try buying a Surface device and then tell me $50 is expensive. I spent $150 on my Surface 3 type cover. $50 is nothing.
3. You can’t speak on whether or not its worth it if reviews don’t have it and you don’t have it. We don’t know enough about the quality of the device to judge whether or not its overpriced.
4. Because some of us saw it listed for purchase on websites months ago and bought it from lying sellers and are still waiting for it.
Those^ are why we are “crazy” about it.
April 7, 2016 at 9:12 pm #32570Did those people say which retailers got the keyboards?
Gearbest still says the 15th and BG told me the 14th or 15th yesterday so I wont bother to check with them again. I won’t even bother asking ebay and alli sellers anymore.

- dont get me wrong, not hard feeling about it…
- for me 50$ for chinese keyboard seem bit overpriced (i know i lot about chinese quality, i did live in china in the past)
- u really cant conpare with surface keyboard, and still think surface keyboard was overpriced too
- there is a review on jtgeek, and they confirm about weight and on video keyboard seem bulky
- i will rater go for nice logitech keyboard at same price + generic stand
it is just me …. i dont judge anyone ….
April 7, 2016 at 9:33 pm #32574To be honest the only reason I haven’t gone with a different keyboard is because I wanted something that would function as a cover and stand but also looks like it fits the tablet. The logitech is the best option for anybody that actually wants a keyboard for practical purposes.
April 7, 2016 at 10:09 pm #32579I would be happy with my Logitech keyboard too, but the main issue for me like all Atoms and single band Wifi using my mouse + BT keyboard is slowing the wireless a lot! And touchpads + keyboard and traveling is a better all in solution. If it’s worth $50, well we will only know when we receive it.
I just got my Cube i9 type cover style keyboard today and it’s even more expensive at $65, but it’s definitely worth it as the quality is that of Microsoft’s own type covers.

Ah! I think Chuwi is finally shipping the keyboards now.
Lets hope banggood gets them real quick.
April 7, 2016 at 10:37 pm #32591if you want see the keyboard live, sorry in french, look arround 8minute on video
April 7, 2016 at 11:01 pm #32598At least for me, having the original keyboard will serve 3 purposes. First, avoid using the BT as is messing WiFi speed. Second, the Hi12 is a heavy machine and the original keyboard will make it more ergonomic to use for long periods of time. Lastly, you need it to use the tablet in your lap! ?
April 8, 2016 at 3:58 am #32610Okay so awhile back I contacted Alli and Ebay users and kept in contact with anyone that didn’t lie their butts off about the keyboard stock. Just got a message from Ebay user “mcbubstore” that they have 10 silvers available. They do not have gold though. My Chuwi is gold but I am sick of waiting so I am just going to give them a try and hope they really have it. They have mostly positive reviews and were honest with me each time I asked about the board availability.
April 9, 2016 at 2:56 pm #32796Its been marked as “shipped.” In about 48 hours I will see if the tracking they provided me actually works.

BG and Gearbest were still just giving me later shipping dates every time I asked about stock. The seller I used said they had gotten 10 silvers in stock so I went with that. Just tried the tracking number they gave me and it appears to be genuine. Finally. I will keep everyone updated with how it moves.
April 10, 2016 at 11:22 am #32894Well just got an email my Hi12 keyboard shipped out with Banggood. It will be here in 2-3 weeks or so I hope. PostNL
