Thank you for your comments Emily.  Unfortunately I bought what I wanted and needed based upon multiple articles I read stating that the HI12 would be a dual operating system when it was first delivered or as an update at a later date.  These article were all based upon information provided by Chuwi.  When I received my tablet it was in a box which stated android operating system on it.  I have several computers running Windows 10.  What I need is one that also run Android.  Chuwi has mislead and mistreated their early adopter, which is the group they should want to retain.  I would suggest Chuwi quickly come up with a way for us to obtain what we ordered without having to be without our tablet for a long period of time while it’s recycled to China.  Not a good choice.

The attached image of your chuwi box has the words of the “Windows” and “Android”. But there is no mark “√” in the front of the white square. So it don’t support dualboot. If your tablet support dualboot, it will be marked with the sign “√” in the front of the white square. When you bought your tablet, the product information has been described whether the tablet support dualboot. If you didn’t read product description carefully before buying, you didn’t know it only support windows 10. You should return it after receving Chuwi Hi12, if you want a dualboot Hi12.

So I think you should not argue whether the first version is a dualboot. And Chuwi will help you to upgrade to dualboot, if you return it for repair.

Emily, to be fair, your suggestion of sending working item back is not feasible. The cost of sending item back to China can be extremely high, in some countries, its like half the cost of the tablet (from what I read in this forum alone).

I think more information and communication from Chuwi would be good. If there isn’t a dual boot, just say it and end the speculation. If its being worked on, just give a timeline.

so following your statement it shouldn’t have windows too.

nice i have bought a tablet without a OS.

for all other chuwi customers and who would like to buy a chuwi product: this is the support and treatment received by chuwi.

for me this is the last chuwi brand item. luckily the market is full of competitors assuring a real customer care support.

TECLAST or CUBE have more respect fot their customers

    TECLAST X98 AIR 3G, TECLAST X98 AIR II, TECLAST X98 PRO,CHUWI HI8, CHUWI HI12, CUBE I9
