Hey guys, following up on this touchscreen issue in Windows 10 Preview; I have the same issue. I’m also the guy on XDA who resolved this initially (with an earlier Win10 preview build) by uninstalling and force installing (“have disk” method) the KMDF driver from the Drivers Dump here at TechTablets. I had some other issue with Win10 and flashed the International Win 8.1, and had been running on that for a while. I decided to try the latest Preview again, and upgraded from 8.1 last night, only to find that I could not resolve the touchscreen issue this time around.

Same symptoms: somewhat inverted touch points when in the middle of the screen, also notice they are duplicated touches – I can see the touch on the same horizontal axis, about 300 px away from the original touch. Anyway, I hope someone has some ideas about this. I’d love to use Win10 on this tablet, it really is excellent on it, but this issue is likely not a “Microsoft” problem, probably more of a Chuwi driver problem, so I don’t expect it to be magically fixed when the RTM Win10 comes out at the end of the month. Maybe there’s a newer driver that someone has obtained from Chuwi?

EDIT: I just noticed the updated touchscreen driver here on TechTablets download section (duh). Manually installing that driver (note: unsigned driver.. that’ll be a clue that you’re installing the right one), resolved my touchscreen issue. Thanks again to the guys here at TechTablets for supporting this device!

Yep was going to say move the touch files over to System32/Drivers and reboot will do the trick. I’m on Win 10 and everything is working perfect.

    Hello!

    1. I restored win8 to factory default.
    2. Earlier i made with Windows media creator a pendrive.
    3. With setup.exe i successfully installed Win10. After wifi enabled, activated automatically.
    4. Then i’ve installed drivers with double driver from here.

Problems: camera app doesn’t work. Crashing immediately after launch.

The OS switcher nowhere, but i’m installed. If i run from pendrive, switches to android. From android i can switch back too. And of course the build in os selector is working too. (When booting press volume -)

    Hi guys,

Do you found some benefits upgrading to Win10? Is it important to use these drivers?

Can I install WIN10 and then update the drivers?

will be some issues upgrading to 10 about warranty? My chuwi arrived today had a back light on the left corner of the screen…just look https://goo.gl/photos/zdUZZDm3uUq8jjYb8

I don’t know what to do, I open a ticket at gearbest where I bought.

    THanks everyone for the answers

Why is the Chuwi Windows 8.1 image so huge?

Is it because of localization data?

It is bigger than the 8.1 image I use for the PC.

Hi Chris and everyone! I bought my chuwi vi10, then i installed windows 10 via usb (erase everything). But now i have a driver issue. The ones you post didn’t worked for me. I think my hardware is different: first i have a broadcom wifi. My number is VI10Q32G22151000423. Only wifi is working (i have it from an other device) but the audio,  touchscreen doesn’t work. I don,’t have the intel graphic settings neither. I saw the drivers from chuwi’s website but how does they work? I have to extract them were?? I hope you will help me, for one week now i am struggling every day after school to make things work… Thanks!!
