    What the hell? Are They tried to reduce the value of thier products due to the sale they made? Are they crazy? Let’s all of us open a dispute when we get the tablet. I will not buy a licence key because of them. One more reason to stop buying these chinese brands. ?

    Without a partial refund i will open a dispute in my credit card company.

    Wow, I did not expect that, not from Cube. But Geek buying which were doing this! Ask them for a valid key, they need to give you one and have a fix. It’s odd because mine has Windows 8.1 Bing on it and not Pro. I hope my second one has a valid key if not it’s dispute time!

    unless someone at these sites is robbing the keys to sell and installing cracked windows.

    They clearly think the buyers are idiots .

    Chinese market in general is corrupt .

    This is starting to seem not such a good deal now, first the stylus gift fiasco and now reports of fake Windows licenses.

    @Chris
    when this happened to you with another tablet did they give you a license key when you opened a dispute?

    Hi, I told them the key would not activate (something about it could not be activated at this time and to try again, but it wouldn’t work) and they sent me a 8.1 Bing which worked as soon as I entered it. And I updated to Windows 10 just fine so it’s 100% legit. I’m sure they will just send you a new bing 8.1 key, I didn’t open a dispute. Make sure you send them a screenshot of the issue to save you some time.

    My second unit had no such issues, apart from the screen arriving stuck to the IPS (But that was DHL’s fault and I fixed it anyway). It had 8.1 bing and was activated. My 3rd unit I’m ordering on behalf of someone shipped on the 25th via snail mail. I hope it doesn’t arrive with activation issues.

    Still I can’t believe the manufacturer is hacking the activation on these using a crack! These Chinese companies amazing me at times, the stuff they pull that no company in the West would get away with.

    The Cube i7 Stylus for the price is a great tablet. But nothing comes close to my Surface 3 or Dell Venue 11 Pro, but they do cost 2-3 times the i7 Stylus. And the support you get with these machines to.

    OK I am going to go back to disputing PayPal to get geekbuying to honor their price match policy I have to say coming from a Thinkpad Tablet 10 this machine is a definite step up the tracking on the digitizer is definitely better especially around the edges. With the money I save I am going to buy a square trade warranty. Considering that the Thinkpad 10 started at $600 this is an amazing deal.. I am betting Cube got a great deal on Surface Pro 2 panels and cobbled this together.. Since Microsoft moved to 12″ and n-trig..

    I’m a bit wary of starting something if I haven’t got my keyboard yet, I have sent a message to them asking about the keyboard Also i have noticed air bubbles trapped in between the glass and the LCD they are just small 3-2mm  it’s not like the ones that Chris has reported on

    It has all the feeling of that last tablet I bought from China what a POS that was

    EDIT: I would say that I haven’t got a shipping number for the keyboard yet !

    that is part of the reason why I am getting the Squaretrade warranty.. Cube themselves only warranty for 6 months..I think for $75 it is a worthwhile investment to get a 3 year warranty

    those are just from the little screen protector film that is pre-installed and peels right off. I am waiting on my tempered glass protector for a $300 New device you really shouldn’t expect gorilla glass.

    I messaged them and asked about the copy of windows and got “don’t have original license code” and also “it is official” in the same sentence.
