Buy this one, maybe you can find it in EU stock too to get it quicker. Never use clamp, it is unsecure, simple wire out from the mainboard to the programmer with short wires, thats all. For future use xou can buy an 1.8V adaptor too (for other EEPROM), itt is cheap also.
January 16, 2018 at 8:19 pm #77094Well, that is cheap! I work daily with electronics so this is kind of a piece of cake. We do have eprommers at work but those are quite old, over 10 years or so.
PLEASE, report if you try fixing it!
January 16, 2018 at 8:26 pm #77095Here is video of the operation:Â https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLv7jiStHyk
But yes, with wires… Ordered the flasher, now we wait.
But one thing, please tell me that the “jumper.rom” and “JUMPER10x.P8.WP313R.NHNAUHN02.rom” are the same file? I flashed the latter one.
January 16, 2018 at 8:34 pm #77096It is the same, just for easy type at UEFI prompt for flashing. I think no w10 supoort, just W7 x86 or amd64. Use the oldest 1.18 software package, newer are pain in the ass, at least for me never worked other versions.
January 16, 2018 at 8:37 pm #77097Ok, good. Still I don’t get it why it didn’t work… V5 worked with V4 bios but V4.5 laptop failed.
January 16, 2018 at 8:41 pm #77098Maybe another mainboard revision, with programmer you can play with .rom files to find the right one, if you have the original dump to restore if failed.
January 17, 2018 at 6:59 am #77105I think I can flash it at my work… Need to update the software from 2006 🙂

January 17, 2018 at 8:25 am #77108It’s original beeprog, software updates discontinued last May but I think it will work!

January 17, 2018 at 11:47 am #77136It reads! And checksum doesn’t match with the “jumper.rom”…
This is getting exciting!

my god! good luck!! how is it going??
ps: i think you and i have the same revision of laptop, 30/9 bios with sandisk 4064 emmc, right?? so, if you success i will tryJanuary 17, 2018 at 12:49 pm #77142And problems… Reading works, erasing works but when I flash then verify fails. So flashing doesn’t work like intended. Maybe too long wires…
January 17, 2018 at 12:53 pm #77143Does not matter, I never do verify beacuse of fail. Erase chip, flash it and should be fine.
