What type of ssd do you have?

Make clean install to emmc, then change Intel AHCI driver to Fernando’s patched. Clone AFTER to SSD. Boot will be OK, but lower R/W speed, not the specific maximum (or maybe not, if you are lucky, you can check it with crystal disk)

Or change the  SSD to 100% working one (see topics for types)

    How I did it.

Formatted ssd to got, installed Windows from a pendrive there, without formatting emmc.

The problem was it was asking every time which windows I want to boot.

Cloned with mactrum or something like that particions recovery and uefi from emmc to ssd.

Then in bios I could change bios order, because I hat windows boot loader on emmc, and windows boot loader on ssd.

Then formatted emmc in disc management. Didn’t format recovery and uefi particions, but I’m pretty sure notebook boots from ssd. I disabled emmc in bios to check, if it would boot, and it would 😉

    Hi Pawel,

    I’ll tell you my experience.

I would like to do a clean installation of windows on SSDs but I still could not, but I managed to clone the OS from eMMC to SSD. My SSD is a Crucial 275gb M.2.

With the crucial software (Acronis) it was impossible to complete the OS clone, the PC screen became black and remained black for a long time. Instead I managed to run the OS clone with the Reflect software (it’s free and easy to use).

After this step I changed the BIOS starting from SSD and everything went well.

This is the way I did it. Kept it as simple as possible.

During installation of Windows choose custom option, delete all partitions from eMMC and SSD. Leave both unallocated and select SSD as the location for install windows. EFI and recovery partitions will automatically be installed on your SSD. The system should detect the boot manager and boot from your SSD. Thereafter, it’ll always boot from your SSD. After setup of Windows, you can then proceed to partition the unallocated space on the eMMC using disk management and install whatever necessary drivers/windows updates.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes. Cheers 🙂

I have a problem with installation Windows on SSD disk on my Ezbook Jumper Pro 3 V4? V5? Installation attempt. The first time I tried to move windows from emmc to ssd – successful, but Windows always start from emmc. I tried to set in the BIOS but with no effects, it always starts with EMMC. I also tried “So go to Control Panel, System and Security, System, Advanced System Settings, Startup and Recovery, and then change the Default Operating System to the “other” Windows 10.” – not working. The second time I tried the clean installation from pendrive Windows 10 – successful, but windows doesnt start. The third time again clean installation but I already formatted emmc and ssd. After this operation windows still doesnt start. Finally, format both disks and install windows on a EMMC disk with a pendrive. After this installation, windows works but still on the EMMC drive. I’m giving up. Can anyone help? I attach a photo with HWINFO, maybe this will help. BTW. Can I change my BIOS to unlocked BIOS? Sorry for my English.

I received my WD SSD and i installed it. Tried to clone the drive and it wont boot from SSD. After that i checked the bios… unfortunately its the locked one. So i can See the SSD there (Windows Boot WD241….) .

at the end i Decided to do a Full install on the SSD. Erasing all and press install to SSD.

wont Boot up just UEFI Shell 🙁

Just one question regarding Windows 10 reinstallation. Where I can find A valid copy of Windows that will permit using my current EZBook Pro Windows 10 licence?

There is a creation Tool from microsoft to make a ISO file. The license is saved on your ezbook. Be surr and take a tool to read out the serial just in case.
