I have exactly same problem with air II 32gb version. Banging my head as i have tried a lot of combinations. Tried using MFT in 2 different virtual machines, windows 8 and windows 7. Use two different physical machines of windows 8. Damn MFT wont recognise my tablet. So unable to flash any android rom on my tablet.
