    Asus T200Ta

Thank you for that!  From the looks of the connector, it looks like a direct plug and play solution.

Well from the videos the cube mix is a 10 pin connector and the asus transformer battery is an 8 pin.  I think it can still work though, because I watched a video of a guy with a 3 pin to 2 pin conversion.  Considering the price of the mix plus, I think it’s worth a gamble to see how well the battery is.  Can always sell on ebay.  It’s hard to justify spending 629US on the equivalent Samsung hardware.  Maybe a battery forum of XDA forum can shed some more light on this issue?

Dude i dont know what you will be doing with the tablet, but with mine i can watch approx 6 hours youtube 1080p on edge on 50% brightness. just normal browsing in edge (have to admit it its more power efficient than firefox or chrome) on 50% can last 6-8 hours. I did mod it with a thermal mod and slight undervolt. Could get even more out of it i think if i would lower the max tdp. but im pretty happy with its performance. what im not happy with are these shitty windows 10 that keep constantly updating and restarting…. But you cant use any older windows on any kaby lake tablet/2in1/laptop as there are simply no useable drivers – i even tried windows 8.1 on mine, but meh, nothing worked properly…

Thanks for that real world information.  I thought Chris said he only got 4hrs, seems to be what is listed under the specifications.  Where did you order from?  I’m either going to get it from gearbest or banggood as they are paypal verified.  Granted I’m trying to solve a problem I don’t even know if I have yes (since I haven’t personally tested battery life).

Gearbest, its best with the premium shipping to EU since you dont have to pay tax…

but yeah as i said, these damn windows 10 constantly keep churning in the background some updates and telemetry “spyware”.

but perhaps you rather get the new thinker? double ram/ssd, better screen.

edit: ill correct myself top, powercfg says 5 hours 33 minutes. but if i check the capacity 43Wh and the drain in HWinfo between 5 and 7w it should work some 5-7 hours.

I specifically want the 10in tablet version so I can use it with an Ipega-9023 telescopic controller.  It just becomes one giant gaming handheld.  Emulators, pc games, its all there.

honestly the best option would be to get windows 10 enterprise ltsb  or windows server 2016 without the constant updating crap, but thats kind of impossible and way over the top for this situation

    Hi guys,

Ive not yet tried out a complete battery drain test but in 3 hrs im left with about 55%. This has been consistent for my three tests with internet wifi on plus am watching videos through vlc and running blueJ . I have no thermal issues as my maximum processor performance has been reduced to 40% in the battery power saver advanced settings. the maximum I’ve gotten to is 50 degs c running 10 apps, but mostly i run cool between 37-45. initially i used to get 84-97 deg c which drove me crazy..

Im happy with the tab. the only issue being the keyboard CDK09. the mouse pad has a wired setting that i cant change. u pull the mouse downwards it minimizes all the app and from the left it takes you to the task view, from the right you get the notification bar opened. How can i change this ???
