so the tablet is being shipped with Flytexpress, which appears to be a chinese international shipping company who deals with lots of couriers.
my package is being sent by them through HKDHL, and they quote it as taking 2-4 days.Flytexpress recieved the package from banggood on the 30th, and it was processed through their sorting facility yesterday 😀
so it could turn up at any stage now 🙂September 1, 2015 at 2:17 pm #10710Great, well I hope your one runs cooler than mine. Please compare your temps to the ones I posted in my review http://techtablets.com/teclast-x98-pro/review/

turns out that Arctic Silver 5, is about an 8W/mK
but you can get thermal pads up to about 17W/mK… Â which dont cost an arm and a leg.September 2, 2015 at 12:55 pm #10759Hi, these pads I used are rated to 6W/mK. Never knew there were pads that are rated up to 17W/mK!

Copper plates are rated at 300, so it’s probably still better to use a very very very thin layer of thermal past onto a copper shimm but from the heat spreader to the back of the case, you might still be able to improve things :-p
My tablet just left Hong Kong this morning, so it should rock up in the mail tomorrow. Â But I have a test on zener diodes in power supplies tomorrow afternoon so I might not get a video up about its temps until the weekend.
